another PPC buyer

Post by Speed Indeed »

This is to Flying Beaver in the Bush flying section.

Do some research on this website!!! I highly recommend it!! Not only do you want to buy a PPC on a PC-12, you want the employment office to pay for it. what the @#$!!!

You will find an overwhelming theme. This theme rotates around the fact that you will be looked upon in a very unpopular manner in this industry and you will basically set the tone for the rest of your career. Do you really think this is the right way to do it?

Maybe the employment office should pay for all of them -I mean the ppc was a federal decision to begin with.

People who Work for free and buy their own PPC is exactly what got us into the mess we have now. (the industry I mean). I have no respect for those few who do this. If I am ever in a position of deciding who gets on with a particular company, their resume will only make it to the shredder.

Just out of curiosity are these people buying PPC's or type ratings? Are they unemployed/not offered a job until they complete training or are they hired and then sign a bond/loan?

IN 14 yrs I can only recall one person who I watched buy a PPC quasi legally and it didn't progress his career in the least.
