I was on a Boeing Course in Seatle a few years ago and the building we were working in had a gift shop. I just
had to buy this book. Way too cool.
Meeka, your avitar, (and love for this old junk), made me think of it.
Extra points if you can identify the engine I've leaned it up against for the picture...

I didn't count the jugs before, so now I know I am way off the mark!
I'll throw in a R-1300.

Hahaha
Well, I've never met Meecka, but based on where she works (lucky $%*! girl) I will sure take your word for it. Of course out here in my part of the country the guys give me a hard time for knowing too much about airplanes. I have been a die hard aviation buff my whole life so I have picked up a fair bit over time, but there is lots of folks like me out there who have picked up even more!!! I like to get to know those folks. I am having a tough time with the next engine you have posted in the maintenance forum (I am still at work though so I can't spend as much time on the research that I want
).

Oh Bloody Hell I missed all the fun!!
I was gonna say a Wright.... I havn't encountered anything with a Jacobs engine in it... yet. Give me time! HS, nice find on the book, looks pretty neat.
So I guess I don't get any points now.

So there you go - I will send you my credit card info as well.
Anyhow - it's a great book and should procure a copy, asap.
The pics would blow your mind.
Cheers,
