I predict the only company still standing by the end of this year will be WJ. If I'm wrong I will walk the halls of terminal 3 in yyz naked.

Geeze, I think it would cause a mass evacuation of the building...
Wishing Enerjet all the best, BTW.

If it means not seeing you in the buff streaking through T3, then I as well wish nothing but the best for Enerjet.

I want to die like my grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming in terror like his passengers...

With your Captains hat on, a bottle of 2002 Brunello de Montalcino in your left hand and a bottle of 2004 Sassacaia in your right hand. A long stem Reidel glass tied to that part of the swinging male anatomy that you consider your manhood singing at the top of your voice “ Bottle of wine, fruit of the vine, when ya going to let me get sober…… “
Nil comment about the length and girth of said organ – Let the WestJeters cast the first stone

Or if you're really classy, a 2001 brunello..
I still don't really wanna see it tho'... no offence.

I got an email from Enerjet to update my application and that the NG rating is no longer required.
I find this strange for a company I haven't seen flying in a long time.

And losing money 4 or 5 times a week as well!
YOU CAN'T MAKE MONEY RUNNING YYC-YEG-YMM AND BACK ONCE A DAY 4 DAYS A WEEK ON AN NG AND MAKE MONEY! DO THE MATH PEOPLE! ONE TRIP A WEEKEND TO THE CARRIBEAN AIN'T GOING TO CUT IT EITHER!
I feel like I'm on crazy pills....

Never said I planned to work there or even cared.. I was just curious if they were picking up business. I don't see them flying because I'm out on the east coast. I used to see them regularly in YYT moving oil crews.
Re: Enerjet
Say Alltitude,
You are on crazy pills if you think all ENJ is doing is YYC-YEG-FG6 runs...
Perhaps you need to read the rest of the thread, or get yourself a little more educated on what they are doing these days. Enerjet is NOT being run by a bunch of idiots...

Re: Enerjet
Okay then, educate me. What else are they doing?
And I never said they were idiots - I said you can't make money on an NG running the Alberta corridor 1x a day and 1 trip a week to the Carribean.

Re: Enerjet
They've been flying to PVR, CUN and PUJ weekly from YYC, YEG and YVR along with their FG6 charters.
I never said you used the word idiots...that word was mine...
As documented above, Enerjet was unfortunate to start up at the start of our country's worst Recession / Economic Slow Down in several decades. Hopefully they'll be well positioned with their own niche market as the economy continues to improve. The point I was trying to make above is they continue to be led by a team who have proven records in the Canadian Airline industry.

Re: Enerjet
The outlook is still very positive with strong aircraft utilization during the winter months for charters. Employee count is increasing, however a wait and see approach is being taken on for procurement of additional aircraft.
Re: Enerjet
any news on them? Heard they weren't flying for transat this winter...could be wrong.....saw the jets parked at the gate last week....but from people's comments on here that seems to be whats happening. but they seem to keep hiring people....
