Skyservice Lifeguard only painfully highlights why CGAA is so brutal. Both are really identical operations in their mandate - heck CGAA's ops manual is nearly word-for-word identical to SSV's, how very odd...
They both operate LR35's internationally, mainly on medical repatriation. SSV has a tough sched too, not great pay, long hours, etc etc. Yet, they manage to keep guys (fairly) happy. (I'm sure there are exceptions, but in general.)
The only real difference is the ATTITUDE OF THE MANAGEMENT! It's not just about money, or scheduling. It's about not feeling threatened and intimidated and being personally insulted. Quite honestly the guys/girls at CGAA are completely disposable in the eyes of the COO and are treated as such.
I repeat - you may think you need the jet time, it may sound glamourous, but do yourself the best favour you ever could and stay away.
