Looks like Jazz could temporarily stop operating next week as the maintenance mediation talks have reached impass and 72hour strike notice is imminent.

Your Bargaining Committee met with the Company continuously for the last seven days to bargain a new collective agreement. Federal Mediation Officer Paul Macdonell assisted the bargaining process.
After much discussion, we are pleased to announce that the CAW was able to reach a tentative agreement with the Jazz Technical Services group.
John Murawesky, Chairperson of the Bargaining Committee said, “After the past few days it was looking like a deal would not be possible. In fact the parties remained apart after a self-imposed deadline. We have reached a tentative agreement that has received the unanimous endorsement of the Bargaining Committee. We are proud of what we were able to achieve in this negotiated settlement.”
The ratification schedule will be released in the coming days. Details of the agreement will be provided at the ratification meetings.
Your CAW Bargaining Committee recommends that you vote “Yes” to this tentative agreement.
In solidarity,

Re: Jazz maintenance strike.
AME's at Jazz make about 20% less than none union AME's. This new agreement does very little to close that gap. Have to ask, why keep
paying union dues to make less money than everyone else?

Re: Jazz maintenance strike.
Too bad they can't decertify and ask the company to pay what they were paying. With no union dues coming out, they would probably be better off.
I suppose they could decertify, but we all know that isn't going to happen....
