ORNGE & OCC
Heard from a few people that ORNGE and Orange County Choppers are getting together and making a bike, maybe even 2 here soon. Anyone hear anything else?

Re: ORNGE & OCC
I thought by OCC you meant ORNGE COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE... Cause I must say in my past experience when I did medevacs. There was a whole lot of overpaid idiots working there. Probably still is. All of them spending tax dollars to send aircraft here and there and not move a single patient!
One of these days the auditor general will nail ORNGE to the wall for many millions of dollars over spent from some of there dispatcher's mistakes.
I'm sure there are a ton more guys who have had grief dealing with these retards!
They should fire or educate all the dispatchers who were ex-pilot's or those wannabe pilot's questioning the reason why you won't go flying into a thunderstorm or take off in freezing rain. Sometime's they would duty you out only cause there's an annoying flashing blip on there computer screen indicating a code 2 to get transferred. I am more than positive they get performance bonuses at the end of the day.

Re: ORNGE & OCC
The biggest problem with the OCC is there are 200 people trying to manage 150. Oh and you thought it was bad when they let you duty out. Now the rule is to NOT duty out. The lengths they go to to get a crew home $$$
Cheers,

I can't wait to see that happen!!!!All of them spending tax dollars to send aircraft here and there and not move a single patient!

Remember who you are dealing with, most of these people (including COO and upper management) consider Perry Sound/ Muskoka to be north. They can't put down their little crayons and haven't stepped outside of their little Toronto cubical office to experience what "really" happens. If only they could only find a way to pull their head out of their cooperate ass then just maybe they could get something productive accomplished.
Why did ORNGE go out and purchase these beautiful new "twin engine" helicopters and only give the fixed wing guys a single? Something wrong with that?
I truly wish the new guys on the PC-12's the best of luck. You'll need it.

Re: ORNGE & OCC
Ok, explain again why a government-run non-profit patient-transfer organization needs a 'Brand' let alone a marketing campaign?
Are there other government-run non-profit patient-transfer organizations competing to see who can spend all the tax-dollars fastest?
Last time I checked, if you bounce off the back of your 8-man ATV, you don't get the choice who comes and shuttles you down to civilization...
What's next.... Firefighters re-branding themselves as 'Regional Heat and Water Integration Specialists' complete with meaningless vowel-lacking logo. Call them... BURGNDY. Make them a motorcycle too. Why not.
Urrrgggh....

Re: ORNGE & OCC
Yes the Orange Country is certainly coming to Ornge. Do you not know about their 3 reality TV show proposals?
It's no wonder they don't require a training bond, they have $287 million tax dollars!
