Non-rev'ing a taxable benefit?

Post by flap16 »

Heard a rumour of some proposed tax legislation that would make cheap/free travel for airline employees a taxable benefit. Anyone know anything about this?

:smt014 The tax man has been trying that one for years, that is why most if not all companies charge something :smt014

Only two guarantees in life, death and taxes and depending what you believe there may only be one guarantee "taxes" :smt008

Just remember it is you and I that are paying for these political pensions, civil servant bonuses, and all the other perks

I'd think that it would have a significant effect on those among us who commute.
Anyone have any links or more information? Just heard about it through a friend, but can't seem to find anything official.
