Jazz Dash 8 at CYXD?

Something you don't see everyday...Jazz Dash 8 spotted on the tarmac at Edmonton City Centre Airport. Anyone have any idea why?

Can an entire NHL team with all their gear, coaches, travelling media all fit into a -8?? Don't think so. I believe with their contract they must be provided the executive A319 that all JETZ teams use.

The Jazz Dash 8's at CYXD ARE charters for the Calgary Flames. To answer the last post, all of the players equipment is sent by ground transport to Calgary. So yes, a Dash 8 can fit all the players, coaches, and management; along with their personal bags. And they DO NOT have to be provided with a A319. They prefer the Dash when playing in Edmonton as they can land at City Centre instead of the International.

I remember AO doing a charter with the Pittsburgh Penguins years ago, but yes, it would definately not have included their equipment!
