A small plane’s six occupants are unharmed after its pilot overshot the runway at the Toronto Island Airport on Friday night.
The plane was attempting to land at the airport at about 9:45 p.m. when it missed the runway, according to the marine unit of the Toronto police.
It is unclear what size of plane it was, although police confirm it was carrying a pilot and five passengers.
Visibility was extremely poor at the time of the incident, with fog and drizzle blanketing downtown Toronto.
