Porter in YAM?

Post by algore »

Sitting in YAM this evening at the ESSO, and a Porter Q400 has pulled up next to us for a fuel stop. Anyone know what's up? The fueller says the planes heading to YQT have been stopping for gas all day. Just curious what's up... Due to the unusually strong winds?

Is that so? If it is really true then perhaps the island is showing its true colours......

And limitations (maybe there's money in Deluce's pockets for an extension)...

Winds are probably a factor today too.

Enroute from YAM to YYZ this aft, at FL250 winds were 280@120. Smooth as ice, but mean.
