Why shouldn't it be legal? If you can afford the ammo, and to own one, why shouldn't you be allowed to shoot it? Licenced range, organised meet, and proper personal licencing, and you should be good to go..

Would have been fun for the RC pilot to test the discipline of the crowd by doing a little "around-the-end" of the line... just to see what would happen.

Could have happened anyway, if somebody had gotten in an unlucky shot.
