Just an FYI - I've used Ultima for awhile, just because its so conveniently located, however....

I pay 160 or 190 bucks ( cant remember which..) for a Cat 1 renewal. I've never met anyone else who pays this much.

That being said, they've squeezed me in with little/no notice and the service there has always been great.

( I guess with those kind of prices, the waiting room isn't all that busy...)

+1 for Ultima - going to do my first Category 1 there soon. Did Cat 3 two years ago.

Did my Cat 1 renewal at Ultima YVR three weeks ago: $148 incl tax.

I paid $175 at Ultima vs $95 with Dr. Fogel in YWG each in 2009 - I expect this is how unbalanced it will be if we ever go to a private health care system.
