Flow through question.

Okay, so this thread has gone waaaaaaaaaaaay off topic.
So what is the flowthrough agreement at Jazz/AC?
Another thing I had heard was you had to have seniority to move over. If you wanted to go, and had the qualifications, but someone higher on the seniority list also did, he went first.
Can anyone here dispell the rumours?
Jazz would be a good place to work, but the money isn't all that great.

I work for Air Canada and do have the facts. If you have worked for both, you would know that in order to be in command of an Air Canada aircraft it is not just a left seat ride like it was at Canadian.
CCAA did not happen until Canadian and its' mountain of debt was acquired by AC.
Robert Milton himself says in his book that Canadian was days away from liquidation and the debt load was much larger than Canadian had let on, not to mention the poison pill it had set up with AMR.
Canadian had signed a deal with the devil when it hopped into bed with AMR who was sucking CP dry.
I used to believe the same thing, but Milton also mentions in his book that it was a huge misconception by the public that Air Canada aquired Canadian with a huge debt. What happened was they put Canadian through CCAA before the takeover, to cleanse them of their current debt. It would be silly of them to buy the blue team otherwise, regardless of the Onex hostile takeover.
Air Canada, probably wasn't doing all that great, but the combination of the war in Iraq then SARS crippled them. No other company was hit as hard as AC, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific were.
