It appears that Telus has moved its corporate offices to Nigeria. If I was trying to sell pizzas like this my shop would be burned to the ground.

Funny how you can buy a cell phone in any Walmart in the States for $30 and it's good to any number from anywhere in the States. You can do the same thing in Mexico as well. Changes are coming to Canada.....sign nothing till the spring.

I know they all do it, Telus just says it doesn't in its advertising.

If Orscom gets up and running there will be a mass exodus to them. I used them all over Europe and Africa, absolutely problem-free.

Telus, $299 for the phone on a 3 year contract plus about $65 per month VS. Verizon, in the US, 2 identical-to-Telus phones for $99 plus $35/month 2 year contract.

I think maybe the Canadian cell phone companies are all run by Voyageur.

DON'T SIGN ANY CONTRACT LONGER THAN A YEAR (thanks Doc)!

Telus Blackberry, $659 plus Canadian taxes.
Verizon phone $535US = $580 Canadian No taxes.
