non canadian passport under 604
hello
before starting a big search on the us ambassy website I try to gather some informations from you guys.
for a transborder flight to usa if the flight is operated under 604 or is privately owned and just tranasports its owner from a to b, do you need a canadian passport absolutly?
- with a canadian permanent residency what kind of visa can you obtain from us ambassy to facilitate customs ?
looking for all relevant informations
thanks in advance

Re: non canadian passport under 604
I wouldn't take advice here on something so serious. Phone the CBP where you are going to be clearing customs and explain the situation to them, they will tell you what you need.
BC has a new driver's licence that will get you across the border when driving, not sure if you can use it when flying in. In any case, I doubt it would work for a non Canadian citizen.
Oh and having said that, I have gotten people through the US with only a regular driver's licence, but it was special circumstances with pre-clearance from the port of entry.

If you fly the plane and you are paid for this job, get a crew member visa (C1/D), it will avoid you
a lot of trouble and discussion with the US customs.
