Interim CofR Question

Post by wxguy »

I was reading about the CofR in CARS, and am confused by their wording.
(3) The interim registration of an aircraft referred to in subsection (1) expires on the earliest of

(a) the last day of the three-month period following the date of the transfer of any part of the legal custody and control of the aircraft,
What does the last day of a three-month period mean? For example, if I had an interim registration which was valid beginning today (Nov 17, 2009), when would it expire?

Feb 17 2010 (Same date in 3 months)
Feb 28 2010 (Last day of Dec/Jan/Feb)
Feb 15 2010 (90 days from today)
Or some other day?

Thanks for the help
