don't put up with B.S.

Post by butwhy »

I don't understand why some people put up with B.S and then nag about it. I think WE cause for all these B.S in general aviation. we must learn to say NO for cretain things (such as working for MIN wage as a flight instructor in wwfc) . remember the standards... fight for your rights DON'T NAG.
If staff in wwfc are unhappy they should take an action.
Good luck!

I've heard they get 8 bucks and hour per flight... THAT'S SAD. Tim horton's pays 25 cents more and you don't have to get an coffee machine operator licenece... hehehe

I have a sneakey suspicion that at the end of the year, the instructors at WWFC walk home with about the same ammount of pay as with the old pay scale. Except for one thing... they probably spent 3 times as much time at the airport. For $15,000, I think Timmy's is quite competitive with their Coffee Machine PPC. It WAS a great place to work.

Excuse me 'butwhy' but could you kindly tell me exactly which Tim Horton's is hiring right now? I may need to apply there soon.

I worked at Tim hortons, making $8.95 an hour....Anyone working for less that that should not be sitting back and letting it happen, they should do something about it. I wouldn't have toaken teh job in the first place for pay that low...if I can make more money at Timmies, then that is where I would work. And its not a dificult job. (Timmies I mean)

For you guys sayin "take a stand!" and "dont work there!" THe minute any one of these flight instructors does take a stand they will be replaced. For the guy who said dont work there, some times it is the only option to get your foot in the door, build a cpl hundred hours and then get out of there. Its really gonna suck for the students, though, because regardless of what anyone else says, when moral is that low around there, and the apparent lack of experienced instructor that is sure to follow, the quality of instruction is really gonna suffer around there.
