Bose headset parts

Post by kev1.1 »

Opened my loceker this mornin to see my headset in a bad shape.the part that connects the right headset cup holder seems to have snapped and a small crack on that part that reads (R) ..
Have had it for over 2 years..Does anyone know what the warranty on the headset is..Cant find my headset box or the manuals. Are there any places where i could get parts for the headset..
Has anyone faced this issue before?
thanks

I found a warranty card here that says the headset has a 5 year warranty.
Call em up and send it back for repairs, or like mentioned above, go to a Bose dealer.
Good Luck.

The only authorized repair center for BOSE in Canada is TEL-AIR Electronique in Quebec. You just send your headset to them at your cost...with proof of purchase within 5 years of current date. Make sure you buy insurance on it and register it requiring a signature upon recipt of delivery. They courier your headset back to you.
Their # is 1-800-810-0686
I just had mine repaired and they repaired it and mailed it back the same day. I had it within 2 days of them repairing it.
My headset is three years old and they replaced parts that were not broken just worn a little like the ear pads, head cushion, microphone cover all at no cost to me other than shipping.
Anyway good luck

Warranty is kind of like insurance, it's only good if you don't need it.

I had the same problem, cracked left side headphone carrier (fork).
I sent it to Tel Air Electronique and had it back within a few days.
They are very good.

If you do not have the purchase receipt it does not matter, they will check the warranty against the serial number under the head pad.

I've had my Bose for 2 years. I've sent them to Tel-Air in Quebec twice now, with very good service for exactly the same problem (broken ear piece holder "fork"). I got them back within a week. I didn't buy the insurance. The warranty is good, but its frustrating to have had to send them back TWICE! Good thing I still have my David Clarks 10.3 that have never needed anything but a new mic muff.
