just wondering what version better to get the nomal or the delux? or sim x

Just using it for sim work..

As i have 2004 and the GPS some of the approaches arn't in there.. plus some fixes in the gps arn't either..

IE.
Roberval

LOC/DME rwy 34

is the OMPES FIX in flight sim x? as 2004 its a no go.

I have the deluxe version. It's not much different than the original.. except that you have Garmin G1000 installed on a few planes, you get more planes, more mission etc. I haven't noticed anything else that's different at all.

in the GPS to see if this is in the Database

what planes does the g1000 belong to as well..

I don't know how to check that, sorry. But the G1000 belongs to Mooney Bravo, Cessna 172SP Skyhawk and Beechcraft Baron 58.

if you use the GPS in flight sim x.

DO a DIRECT to and see if that fix is there.. just like going direct to say cywg..

Oh, sorry I thought you were looking for something completely different. I checked and OMPES is not in the database..nothing came up for it..sorry.

It might be in X-Plane, can't check right now. Otherwise there's gotta be a way to edit the FSX navaids database to add it in yourself...

just do a vor/dme or tacan point to point from another station

ok - but i want the GPS FIX.... i know its in the GPS DB.. just wanted to know why its not in flight sim...

Well don't bother emailing MS because they lay off the entire Sim team a few months ago. They went and started another company but no news on what kind of stuff they are doing.
