Engine limitations on the E190:

PARAMETER MIN MAX
N1 - 100%
N2 59.3 100%
ITT: - -
Ground Start 740°C
Inflight Start - 875°C
Normal and Maximum Take-off and
Go Around - 983°C(1)(2)(3)
Maximum Continuous - 960°C
OIL PRESSURE 25 psi (4) -
OIL TEMPERATURE: - -
Continuous - 155°C
Engine Starting -40°C Not good if you are operating into/out of YEG in the winter

APU Limitations:

OPERATIONAL LIMITS
PARAMETER MIN MAX
START: TEMPERATURE -54°C - ISA + 35°C This will probably affect you more than the engine start limit.
ALTITUDE - 30,000 ft
OPERATION: - TEMPERATURE -62°C ISA + 35°C
ALTITUDE: ELECTRICAL GEN - 33,000 ft
BLEED - 15,000 ft
TO ASSIST ENGINE START - 21,000 ft
ROTOR SPEED - 108%
EGT: - START - 1032°C
CONTINUOUS - 717°C

OK yycflyguy,

So after sifting through all of that, the executive summary would read: "maximum temperature, at sea level, for takeoffs and landings is 50 degrees centigrade"?

Yeah, that is to start the APU so not necessarily a landing limitation. The other end of the spectrum is -40 for engine start... but I think hell would have to freeze over for that to be a concern where you would be operating.

Is this what you're looking for on the Embraer? 52 degrees C for takeoff.

52 degrees C if you are operating 1000 feet below sea level! Like I said and the graph shows ISA +35 degrees C.

Well, he didn't say where he was operating. It could have been an airfield serving the dead sea for all I know. But...you win.
