Rating Validity
When a rating is valid to the 1st day of whatever month, does it include that day?
Example:
Valid to Sep 1st, 2010. Can you exercise the privilege of the rating until the end of that day (Sep 1st in this case), or is that day the cutoff?
Thanks!

Re: Rating Validity
It was my understanding that the rating would be good until that date.
00:01 September 1st 2010 (in your example) the rating would no longer be valid.
I read something about this in the CARS a few years back but couldn't find anything on it now.
Best bet is to call TC

Re: Rating Validity
You've hit the nail on the head; at 00:01 on the date, the rating is expired. The same thing goes for the medical expiry date.chippy wrote:It was my understanding that the rating would be good until that date.

Re: Rating Validity
My gut feeling is that a rating is not something that should be left until the last day.eterepekio wrote:The lady at the Refresher Course said that it would be OK. Now I get mixed messages. Im gonna talk to TC about it.

So, if you're on an over night flight, better let the autopilot land?

No trees were harmed in the transmission of this message. However, a rather large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced.
