If you are a pilot you would realize how much their pathetic crap has changed the face of aviation in the last 10 years. It has only done so because there seems to be a lot of knee jerk politicaly correct goofs who would rather crap all over the general public than actually do something about the misguided maggots that influence politics and public safety.

Personally I am sick of being treated like a terrorist every time I walk through security.. okay not every time, but plenty of times. If I am even suspected of being a threat to my own aircraft, you might as well shut the whole industry down.

I could care less how you rationalize what terrorists do. Maybe you drag out a Oui Jee board and channel Neville Chaimberlain for all I know. We're not as far apart as you might think, Aerobat - I don't see the value in automatically writing off a group of people... I'm not going to deny that I feel a lot of rage and anger that a person would try to kill others on an airplane, but at the same time I want to know why he would even consider it. I'm trying to understand what would cause a person to become a terrorist in order to figure out if there's a way that their creation could be stopped before it began - why is it that some people feel the need to kill others in order to make a point?
I think CATSA and the TSA are a complete sham, and I see that they're a reaction to outside threats that have been created by politicians only so they can say that they're trying to do something about the problem. Sadly, it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better... once the security bullshit gets to the point that it's killing airlines, only then will they start to let up.
Lastly, I'm curious, which misguided maggots you're referring to - politicians or terrorists - or is there a difference (I only see one in their publicly perceived legitimacy).

I raise this as a question, and I vote conservative.

If all of these people had enough food to eat, and the equivalent of a grade 10 education, how many of them would be willing to put on explosives and blow up airplanes and supermarkets?

Don't want to sound insolent, that is a question in my mind as well.
