You've finally made it in Aviation when you nolonger work in a city which begins with Fort, Port, Prince, or Saint. Or leave aviation and stay in a Fort.

A birddy flew in from yth and said about what you just said.
Put in a resume there gonna be looking!!!!
Good luck with that.
I'm sure a few people have thought about calling them, but really when the company you work for/at is bankrupt, and trying to get an OC back, do you think they want to spend all day talking to a bunch of pilots who just want to know what's happening. If the Ops manager returns to air canada, I don't know who in there right mind would want to go to work for a bankrupt carrier without an OC. Then again when the creditor protection runs out, some of the creditors might be able to bring somebody in to get the OC back, but that person could probably demand some big bucks.
So, Skyward now has no flight ops person?? returning to Air canada? or just a valid excuse to jump off a sinking ship? i have talked to a few guys i know around YTH, and the mood at skyward is very blue. are they going to fly again?? all the upper's like LP say "we will be in the air in a couple of day's, we will keep you posted" the boy's in YTH mentioned that they are in trouble with the jenpeg contract, no kidding!! your most likely charging hydro out the ass for a service that they are not even providing right now. the guys from other charter companies(keystone) are most likely laughing there ass all the way to the bank! hey all you guys that are left at skyward, hang in there! some thing has to happen soon, cause they can't keep paying your saleries with no income! so like many other's before you: have one for me , and we will see you in line at EI!! (ha,ha just joking) HANG TOUGH ! !
hang in there! some thing has to happen soon, cause they can't keep paying your saleries with no income!
They're not paying salaries. Almost all staff has been on temporary lay-off since the OC was pulled. EI is being used. The OM did get recalled back to Air Canada and a new internal OM is in the process of getting the position. I hope for the guys still in limbo that things get up and running soon.
HR guy P. T. is now leaving as well. Seems like a sign that things may be officially over and as usual the front line people are the least informed and the last to know.
I gave him that address completely tonque in cheek as I tire of his name calling and conjecture. You don't have to be a horse to know the south end of a horse walking north.

Good Riddance! PT was pure evil. Not unusual that the worker bees are kept uninformed. Skyward's usual campaign of misinformation. The only persons giving updates are the CP and the Dir. of Flight ops. Good on em!
What is the real deal with all of this skyward stuff?? does any body have the actual facts? or what???? does any one think that TC is just f*ckin' skyward around? or are they going to lat them fly? PT leaving is a good sign that the cash is running out!! cause he wouldn't want his big fat cheque to bounce!! hope all the regular guys and girls cheque's don't go bouncing down the road!! hang in there!!!!
I'm rather suprised that the Exec haven't packed up and left. I'm sure there is some 3rd world country they could go to and try to ruin the local population by converting them to their christian cult.
contratual obligations are not being met by k9. pilots who are owed money through a training bond are technically creditors and as such it seems as though they will not recive payment, because of CCAA filling.
wasn't this system supposed to be 'good' for the employees?
just a comment---Skyward will fly again & just a curious anyone out there hear about a Perimeter tire blowing out this week?? Oh about pilot contracts--be sure they are not going to be paid out before all the facts are in.
