Seems to change how easy/hard it is. At first I couldn't get past 22 then had no problems getting to 44 then 2 heli's entered at the same spot and got me.
Good thing I'm just a stupid pilot

I'm still free

For those who have an iPhone or iPod touch try Flight Control, it's basically the same game but more polished. In fact this online game is probably a rip on it.
Here is one I found many years ago, it's a bit more technical, well you have to type in the commands but when you get used to it it's really fun. it's about midway down the page.

In fact, it's probably no. If you go to the app store on the the iPhone you can search for a game called "ATC". It's the exact same thing. Although I do agree agree with you about being more polished. I'm not a fan of the blocky flight paths.
I'm totally hooked on flight control, in fact I pretty much bought a new ipod just for that game!
To you and those who are interrested in atc games, check this one out, although it has a cost asociated with, i can vouch that it is a really good program.
Click on the pic and it will take to the games' page where there is a link to play the free version. Airport Madness 2 is a lot of fun as is the first radar game. Sky MAdness is OK for killing time LOL. All are free to play.
Well, I got a 76. However, it took a couple tries before I realized the runways are one-way. Also didn't understand at first why some planes failed to actually land until I read the instructions (flight path turns green when accepted).

Speaking of Flight Control for the Iphone/Itouch, my personal record on the first airport is 388, which took quite some time, and I haven't played it in a while since I could never get close again...
However one of my co-workers managed to score over 1200 landings
