Blueside.. thats freakin awesome. Love the timmys cup in the one shot.
Havent been flying in almost a month.. and it'll be spring before I end up back in the seat (unless something crazy happens) so heres a local sunset! (with the new rig)

And why not a shot of Seabornes latest addition.. (with the old point and shoot)

Rowdy, I'm not expert but the shot of the street looks a tad too saturated. Not sure if you did any processing or not. But it looks a little odd from my view. Or maybe it's just the sunset haha.

Isn't that Silver Dart sweet? That's where it all came from.... and I'll bet the 'snowmobile suits' weren't as good then as they are now!
"What's it doing now?"

Great images guys! Keep 'em coming!
I don't know about you guys, but I spend enough time with my own pics that it is a real treat to see what others are doing.
stl, it's not exactly aviation oriented, but I'd like to see/hear more about the sailboat & the upcoming trip. Are you by chance posting on any cruiser's forum?

Hey Prairie,
Great images on here for sure.
I'm not posting on any sailing sites, no. We're departing Victoria on (or about, due wx) March first, and I while I'll have text capabilities for email on the boat, I won't be able to send photos or surf the net at all. I'll be taking lots of shots though, and have a couple ideas for a unique perspective with a little camera I have... we'll see how it goes. Once I get home in late April I'll post a thread with shots from the trip for sure.
I'm leaving for Haiti in a few hours and will be spending a week shooting/writing down there, and I'll be posting pix as I can. I'll probably do a thread in Misc. for that.

Anything happening up in McNeill, or are they just practicing?
Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

No. Probably practicing short field techniques. As an added challenge the runway here is the same width as the landing gear.North Shore wrote:Anything happening up in McNeill, or are they just practicing?

Wow wow wow!
Great shots, and amazing piloting! I remember as a student thinking Port Mcniell was a pretty tight spot for a 172, never-mind that beast!

Flying airplanes is easy, you just need to PAY ATTENTION. Finding a good job on the other hand takes experience, practice, and some serious talent.
