$35 per hr, a place to sleep paid for and $50 a day per diam. flights to and from paid for,
working conditions? sort of doubt the contract agency controls the working conditions in the shops they send bodies to.

Read the contract carefully. Some of Arcand's contracts are very 'open-ended'.

By that I mean, he owns your ass forever. Who ever you go to work for, he will want his cut. (even if you leave him to go work for somebody full-time; He wants 17% of your first year's salary.)

Personally, I would make every effort to avoid such a deal.

Get ahold of whomever it is you want to work for. If you have what they need, very likely they'll hire you for whatever sort of term fits and you'll likely be able to wrangel a few more $$ too.

In spite of the 'reccession' the industry is hungry for decent AMEs. It seems rather unnecessary to have to have a pimp; to me anyhow.

If you are going to go through with it, make sure it for a specified term, that is all.

Keep your head up.

All contracts are different. It depends on who the contract is with for working conditions, accomodations per diem etc.
PS--If you depend on a regular paycheck contracting is not for you.
