Cessna 152 aerobat
I am thinking of buying a 152 aerobat.
What aerobatic stunts can one do in them?
Is the Cessna 152 aerobat a good aircraft for learning aerobatics on?

Re: Cessna 152 aerobat
You can do the basic inside manouevers with the aerobat. Loops, Rolls, Inside Snaps, etc. I learned Aerobatics on one about 20 years ago. I thought it was an ok trainer, really makes you work at your energy management skills. I think I'd get bored pretty quick flying it though..

Stunts??? Bad word buddy! It has no place in modern aviation lexicon.
I flew a C-150 Aerobat (CF-TUC) for a couple of years back in the mid-1970's at C.F.B. Greenwood, Nova Scotia. Could have used another 100 horsepower.

I just noticed this thread. PM Cat Driver. He has one he's always trying to sell.
Re: Cessna 152 aerobat
The positive points of the aerobat is that they are a very tough little plane, easy to maintain and fly. They are metal instead of tube and fabric. The negatives are a very slow roll rate [allthough they snap quite well] underpowered, side by side seating and an irritating nose wheel. If I remember they are not certified for a hammer head.
If they had a tail wheel and sticks instead of yokes I feel they would be superior to the Citabria, especialy the early ones with the O-200. It has been said that if you can do acro well in an aerobat you can do it well in anything.
