Edited to include: The event referred to in the commendation is NOT one in which the wing commander is /was involved. My apologies if I inferred otherwise.

MCpl Thickson receives Wing Commander's Commendation

On 26 July 2009, MCpl Thickson reacted with outstanding professionalism affecting an immediate emergency response to a murder scene at CFB Trenton, ON. In doing so, he ensured the security of the crime scene and of other emergency response personnel who were attempting to revive the victim while the murder suspect was at large in the area.

This is just the beginning.............he was at Portage, Moose Jaw, Shearwater and who knows where else.

It was awarded for a murder that happened on the base 26 Jul 2009.

and to top it all off he spoke and the young ladies funeral (trenton) and offered his sincere condolences....sick just very very sick...
