Anybody else hear that the Martin Mars will be at Garry point, Steveston, on the 23rd Feb. Heard it will depart in the morning of the 24th.

Good news if its true.

"The massive Martin Mars water bomber will be docked off Garry Point Park on Feb. 23 and 24, making water drops Tuesday at 2 p.m. and Wednesday at 4 p.m."

I also read in the local Port Alberni paper that it will be doing drops in Vancouver Harbour.

The flight crew had to answer a series of skill-testing Canadiana questions, which included correctly picking out the Stanley cup from a series of sports trophy photos.

Ground crew all had to have notes from their moms.

Does anybody have actual times and locations of the drop demos. I've been getting conflicting reports from places like here, the Richmond O Zone, and my flying club.

Mars should get things started around 1300 in Coal Harbour followed by two Convairs around 1320 and then a Rap crew will do a demo onto a barge after that.

Is that both the Tuesday and the Wednesday demo?

I'm coming in from up the valley and have to plan it properly.
