$150,000pa MP pensions for Steve Harper and other Reformers!

What happened to all the ordinary members of the Reform Party? Reform came, and went, and nothing changed. They achieved nothing. The gravy train rolls on as before.
It should not be a surprise. Right from their first federal election in 1988 the Reform Party leadership showed it was no different from the others when Manning blocked the candidacy of well known journalist and former WW2 hero Doug Collins for North Vancouver. So much for letting the grass roots have any input or say! Whether it was giving choice to the local constituency or refusing to embrace the financial abuse of taxpayers the Reform politicians have ultimately shown that they were no better or ethical or self-serving than those in the other parties.
The Reform Party was no more than a cynical and calculated scheme by a group of typical politicians to have their turn at inserting their snouts into the fully indexed tax trough.
What has happened to all the grass roots members and voters who put so much cash and effort into Reform? Have they just accepted that there is no answer to political greed and abuse or is there any movement to form another and more genuine version of the Reform Party?

The voters of the east rejected the reform party and embraced the old way. Can only blame the voters on this one.

Haven't you figured it out yet?
We love to get fucked in the ass! That's why we vote in the people we do!
If we keep voting Liberal and Conservative, we will be fucked in the ass.
We like it, so we do it!
