Post by robbreid »

Anyone in Gander with a camera!!!

Three Mustangs with US registrations are on delivery to EAA http://www.eaaegypt.com/html/colleges_mfc.html ,
Eygpt Aviation Academy, based West of Cario.

This is their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Mustang, who train many pilots for Egypt Air.

Singapore Airlines flight School in Australia has also ordered 5 Mustangs for training.

Ok... c'mon now... it would be worth taking pictures if the aircraft were North American Aviation P-51 Mustangs, but a silly little jet? :roll: :wink:

Cheers,

As these aircraft will be based in Imbada Egypt, this may be a very rare opportunity to 'spot' these specific aircraft.

However, here are two photos I took at last summers Abbotsford Airshow;

As an aside, I have the same camera (Nikon D80) - do you like it?

D80's a very nice camera, I was doing great until I took a two day course on how to use it,
then I was just confused!!! Way too much information . . .

Picked up the 18-200 vr lens, sure beats the old 35mm slides!!!
