Flair Air Southern Charters
Heard Flair Air heading into Punta Cana the other day. Just curious if they've started doing contract work with Transat as well or if it was a private tour operator they were working for or maybe just a one off for some reason. Anyone know?

Holy crap that was fast, I was wonder why their signs were off the T.V.'s at the check-in counters in the airport.
Re: Flair Air Southern Charters
Well good riddance to them and airlines that get involved with them. It's tough for the customers who lose their holdays and $$$ but when will they ever learn.
Cheap, cheaper, cheapest....and surprise surprise, bust.
No doubt some "management" have walked away with lotsa bucks as usual.

That really sucks.
Transat, West Jet, and AirCanada SunWing probably the safest bet going forward and you know you will get picked up when your vacation is over. Canjet too cause they are under Transat Vacations.
Maybe driving to Florida is the way to go. Wait Wait Porter down to golf land Myrtle Beach but not always warm enough.
What to do what to do..........

Re: Flair Air Southern Charters
Well Hamish because it happens to be fact. Flair is not Jetsgo and they aren't Zoom. How about applauding them for doing the right thing rather than bash them when clearly you don't have the facts.
Re: Flair Air Southern Charters
There is only one thing more unreliable than a newspaper and that is an aviation rumour forum frequented by pilots.
Facts and such sites are totally unrelated.

Well Hamish...one of my very good friends that works for KFC Maint. just did that turn for Flair... and yes they were all Go Travel stranded passengers. That is a fact, unlike your useless nonsense. I seen it with my own eyes... so go back to your moms basement troll.
Re: Flair Air Southern Charters
I find that really quite offensive and probably not in keeping with the guidelines for using this site.
I am not referring to whether or not the flights took place, which obviously they did, but the financial arrangements under which they operated, which would only be known to very few.

Re: Flair Air Southern Charters
Hamish, I flew 3 out of the 5 trips that weekend including the final one. Flair did the right thing by picking them up on their own tab. They are a class act by doing this and should be applauded for their actions. Are you satisfied?

Well you came to an aviation forum site....why???, we are worse than newspapers here...are you friggin kidding me? You came here posted with no facts (like so many do) people called you out on it, and now you are doubling back on you first post (like so many do).
And now that someone has called you out your still questioning "financial arrangements"....what financial arrangements? Go Travel is fuckin bankrupt you twit, where do you think the friggin money is coming from? Flair. Jesus.....
I am done with this clown...
