Why do people have to go off the deep end here..

All i asked was if you could fix it..

And you can - i'm sending it back to ASA for a new one warranty..

So there is no one out there that flys that uses a calculator.. NONE - damm not sure how you do some calculation.. Everyone here must be so smart...

Not smart.

They just know how to program FMS's and GPS's. And then put their Jepp approach plates on their yokes, give each other the briefing for ummm...

approaches and landings.........

Ok Im "finnished"....

Wait: CX2 79.95 good price Warranty too?.....good to know....

Ah, I have one of those collecting dust somewhere, if you want it, PM me your mailing address and I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping. I haven't used a flight computer since finishing my CPL to be honest.

Did you have to provide proof of warranty? I have the same calculator, at least the same vintage and 1/4 of the screen is obliterated with "ink" from some kind of impact - likely during one of my many moves... They do come in handy for exams (two full ATPL's and working on a third  ) - I'd like to get mine "fixed" too!
More information appreciated as to how you got them to help you...
Thanks,
Kirsten B.

ATPL-A Canada, ATPL-A US (full conversion with exam/flight test) working towards ATPL-H (Canada). The credentials weren't to impress, but rather to shut up the negative posters who contribute nothing with their sarcasm and ridicule. I posted looking for the same answers the original poster successfully found answers to, so I'm sure you'll have no issues allowing him/her to share the results without further interruption or sarcasm!

Thank you!

And I'll be getting a new one too! Thanks imfsub12! What great customer service - I've bought a lot of ASA products over the years, and never had to return anything before. Good to know they care about what customers think about their service, and their products.
Cheers,
Kirsten B.

you're right kristen , Cx2 is good for exam but does not give exact numbers for true altitude and mach number via alt and TAS
good for you imf if you can have it fixed
it was not sarcasm and happy flying
