Hi All,
If my CAT 3 medical has expired can a doctor do a simple renewal or do I have to get TC to issue a new one after the exam?

I recently did this with a CAT 3 that had been issued in the 90's and expired. It may have helped to go to the same doctor, but other than a comment about how old a piece of paper it was, he was able to stamp it. TC maintains your file number, and in my case reissued the medical certificate as the format had changed, then again shortly after as part of my new aviation document, but I was valid after the visit to the doctor. TC will still want their fee.

Oh!!It's a good thing that doctor can review an expired medical certificate but ya keep in mind that doctor is same.It will also work for me KC.
