That is quite probably one of the nicest restorations I've ever seen.... That 7 would be a show stopper at any airshow.

If operating the original turbo-compounds, I'd like to know what grade of gas they're using and where they get it from.

Should be able to use 100. Since they won't be loaded they could greatly reduce take-off power.

Must be for those 'free turbine' 3350s..

That they do. The pax were briefed that flames coming out of the exhaust during climbout were normal. They were blue, i.e. high temperature.

Thinking about it, the rich mixture would find oxygen once it came out of the exhaust.
