Re: Capture the moment
Well I don't get flying much on account of me being bound to my desk in Ops... but I have a good view of the runways here in Goose Bay so I keep my Camera near my desk for the various odd visitors in here.
From the last couple days:

Delta 763 that dropped off a drunk and belligerent Woman on their way to JFK from SVO.

Luftwaffe A310-304 MRTT arrived on Wednesday.

USCG HC-130J which is apparently a rare visitor through these parts.
I'll hopefully be getting some good aerial shots when I get to tour along our Stations on the Labrador Coast and Quebec North Shore.

Started with a Canon Point and Shot A80 in 2003, then Canon DSLR 10D in 2006, then 40D in 2008, and just got a 7D in January 2010.flyincanuck wrote:Lost in Saigon, what kind of camera do you use?

Best place on earth (slightly older photo, 2003?). Notice the Fast Cats at the Washington Marine dock near the bottom.

Re: Capture the moment
Padre, it looks like you were heading west towards Mt Assiniboine in that pic. Paint job looks familiar, oscar fox maybe...
Lost in Saigon, the first set of a/c pics are intriguing, they look kind of surreal! I could almost reach out and hold them like a model.
Great moments you guys have all captured

It's definitely Mt Assiniboine...

The view to the west with Mt Farnham (house with chimney) in the centre...

Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?
Re: Capture the moment
Yep Aerials: it is "Oscar Fox" and Mt. Assinaboine. I see that "iflyforpie" has some even nicer closeups!Aerials wrote:Padre, it looks like you were heading west towards Mt Assiniboine in that pic. Paint job looks familiar, oscar fox maybe...
