I went for a visit around the YQA airport a few weeks ago and seen it getting its newfy colors put on! Wish I had my camera with me, what a job to paint an aircraft that size!

I think AB chose to have their piston 215 aircraft converted to turbo models.
They are being done by Cascade in Abbotsford, I have heard that the first one is almost done. I think SK is also having their 215's converted to the turbo-prop version.

I am not sure if the cost is cheaper, but I would think that they still had to "stroke that big cheque"

Forest don't get your hopes up! It has only taken 4 years to get it this far and it still hasn't even flown!

Not sure how anyone could think it is cheaper especially after you factor in the cost of replacement aircraft to back fill for it while it has been off line!
