How did I know that outrage would cause someone's vision would narrow to the diameter of a dime, and begin pounding on the keyboard as soon as they saw those pix Niss?
Jeepers, I'll bet all those western armed forces just couldn't wait to line up a set of crosshairs on some of those demonstrators. After all, isn't that why we have an Army, Navy and Air Force ... exclusively for the purposes of killing people who don't look like us?
Mind you, my 10 plus years in the reserves were nothing like those experienced by our excellent Reg Force guys, but I sure never was briefed on the true role of the infantry .... the manuals used to describe it ... even during the so-called "Peacekeeping Era" the NDP are so proud of .... "The role of the infantry is to close with, and kill the enemy."
I'm glad I've been educated by some of the posts here as to what my real role would have been had I deployed.
At least it would be a change from the over-used role playing of a horsewoman chasing me around the room with a riding crop yelling, "Get back in the corral you big stallion! I need to get you saddle broke by noon."
That was kind of fun the first 60 times, but now its getting so it hurts, and I'm considering changing my screen name to "Red Roughnsore."
I also have developed quite a fear of being gelded.

apparantly Israel ranks pretty high globally for sexual assault (mainly due to the Russians).

if they have a weapon they are required to carry the ammunition. Usually it is on a belt holder or something. They earn what is called wassach (bling) to get to strap it to the rifle stock or a special clip. They also earn other wasach like watch covers and rifle slings with their units logo.

You gave me nostalgia of the country. I miss diving in Eilat, shoping in the souks in Yerushaláyim لقُدس , ירושלים, buying diamonds in Netanya, relaxing in Haifa, and having a burger and Maccabee at Mc David!
