Re: New Purchase
I am tired of saying how much my jealousy of you has turned to hatred.
Nice bike.
Nice bike.
Re: New Purchase
Is that the 450?
What are they going for these days?
Never ridden one but have ridden the WR450F. After one of these modern 4 strokers, I could never go back to 2 strokes.
Congrats on the purchase for sure.

You do know, that as you age, you take longer to heal. Be careful out there!

Re: New Purchase
Thanks guys,
Yes Doc, I'm starting to feel that after the first serious ride of the year last Saturday... it was easier to pick out my parts that weren't sore on Sunday.
It's a wicked great bike, super smooth power delivery and handles like a dream. I had been 99.9% sure I was going with the Husky TE-450, but after 10 mins on this I really started to question it, after 30, the decision made itself. Great bike.
This is the 09 with the great KTM motor, the 10's have a Beta in-house unit which by all accounts is excellent - but I subscribe to the "never fly/ride/drive the 'A' model of anything..." So, with the bike market pretty depressed over the last year and half, the price was good at $7400 with hand guards, rad guard, custom fabricated removable rear baggage rack, and a new bucket for a really reduced price. Pick it up on Tuesday, can't wait.

PS Istp, I'll be sure to get some shots for you....
