sigs

Post by . . »

is there a way for non-highspeed users to turn off bandwidth intensive things in this board? I persoanlly like the sigs for example sulako, or N8's. If i were on a dialup in northern canada i'd hate the extra time i have to sit to wait for them to load though. On other boards I use there is an option 'don't show sigs' or 'don't show avatars'. I couldn't find that option on my profile here.

i'd say one or the other would work fine. both can be a bit much to load.

I would leave the avatar's off. They make the site look messy, distract the reader, and I've seen many obscene ones. I love obsceity, but I realize this isn't the place for it. Also the point about loading time for those on dialup is a good one.

Let me know if it takes too long to download my sig.
I'd be happy to change or delete it if it makes reading the board easier for others. (It's been a while since I've had to deal with dial-up, so I guess I forget how anoying it can be sometimes)

I'm sure Domo-Kun won't be too upset.
