Chartright
Anyone out there have the latest and greatest info on Chartright? It seems that they have grown a lot in the last couple of years. Have they raised their pay for pilots as a result? How do you guys who work there like it? Great place to hang out for awhile?
Just trying to get an idea of the company after its expansion.

Re: Chartright
Honestly,
It's the best company I've worked for. Pilots are treated great. Operations is efficient and professional. Management must stand up for pilots because we never hear anything regarding complaints and issues. You just show up, get the job done, and go home and everyone is happy. From my perspective it's drama-free. As I was saying to a co-worker the other day, it's a cocoon of common sense and dignity. I'll be spoiled forever if I switch companies.
I'm sure there are problems somewhere but I haven't seen anything major and I've been here for years. Sounds awful mushy but it's the real deal.
I recommend it to anyone.

Is it the kind of place you where you know your days off in advance, and the company respects them, or you find out about your days off at the last minute, or after you've already had them?

Referring to northern pilot. How are the days off granted? Also, do they hire FO's or just Captains. If they do hire FO's are they upgraded or are they there to fill the seat?

Don't you have a global express that is crewed by only two pilots? And aren't they away from home ALL the time and making only $100k per year....doesn't sound that great to me.

I just noticed that I left out one key word in my last post.landinghard wrote:Referring to northern pilot. How are the days off granted? Also, do they hire FO's or just Captains. If they do hire FO's are they upgraded or are they there to fill the seat?
I edited it to now reflect what I really wanted to post!
