You get the idea.
The rule of thumb for airline/airport related rumours is as follows and is true for every carrier I have worked for.

#1. Rampies are usually the best source of accurate rumours. I believe time will prove this correct with regard to YHM/YQM. Maintenance are a close second in terms of their rumour accuracy.
#2 . Flight crew are usually the best source of inaccurate rumours.

^ That's good.

Wrt Porter becoming the '3rd official airline', I lump ACA + Jazz together. I think your comment about not getting bigger than WJA is intended to be humourous though I'm not really sure. Besides, Jazz would be relegated to fourth and not WJA, if that were the case, no? You know the adage: over time, Canada can only support 2 major airlines.

Depends on how you look at it size wise. Jazz has a fleet of 133 and flies to 82 destination. Westjet has a fleet of 88 and flies to 69 destinations.

The adage used to be "Canada cannot support 2 major airlines", then after the CP takeover by AC it was "they cannot have a monopoly"!
