Jeebus!
You can't get 99 percent agreement on ANYTHING in this world!
They must be ticked off about something.
I wish the Jazz pilots all the best.

Re: More news on Jazz
Kudos to these guys and good luck to a fair contract!
...Seems they are going to remove the axe and the control column from the cockpits for security reasons.
Re: More news on Jazz
99%? That would be a "yes" vote for a strike, I'm guessing.
The right to strike is a basic, fundamental bargaining tool that should be open to all members of a unionized company. Good luck folks. When pilots can't afford to leave a Navajo job, for the right seat in a Dash 8 with a company the size of Jazz, you definitely need better compensation!
Wonder who the other 1% is....

Thanks for that article. I just changed a Jazz flight I had booked for mid-June to Westjet just to be safe.
Good luck with your strike Jazz folks. I hope you can make your working conditions much better for the pilots there.

Second, Management pilots would account for some of that 1%.
Re: More news on Jazz
Hopefully management will pony up and make Jazz a leader and an example to other Regional airlines in other parts of the world.
'You get what you pay for', right?
Good luck to all the people at Jazz.

Re: More news on Jazz
Al pilots are part of the union I think and therefore have a seniority number and a vote.

Re: More news on Jazz
Talking to a friend who works on the other side of the cockpit door, I am told that the Cabin Crew are also having their strike vote at the moment. So it sounds like Jazz has issues to settle with various employee groups. Will be interesting.

Re: More news on Jazz
F/A Vote should be announced toady I believe. I would expect similar results. Jazz management needs to take note of the message these two groups are sending.
Re: More news on Jazz
I'm sure Thomas Cook will be really delighted with that news for their new contract.
The whole bunch of them should get the sack, there are plenty more where they came from.
