Good Luck to everyone involved--it surely is a sad day in Manitoba--well in Skyward's instance--sure would like to know who/what/why this happened to good people

and here i was getting all depressed that with my TT and float experience that i was going to have to take a ramp job this year....things could be worse, i guess... :(
Best of Luck to all the girls and guys now in the EI pilot pool. Is it just me or is it getting really hard to keep your head above water?... hope it works out for everyone, wether you stay flying or decide to pursue something else.

It's been my experience... any day in Manitoba is a bad one. What makes this one so bad?

Even if JetsGo Comes back... things are not good.

Post by invertedattitude »

Still going to have over half of JetsGo pilots looking for jobs still, now Skyward.

Not a good looking spot for those looking for that entry level job...

Skyward no more

Post by twinheli »

Yikes,

I know a few guys from Skyward, I've spent some time in Manitoba flying fling wing. I understand Skyward has just gone into receiver ship, there is no hope for a flight of the phoenix there! The travel demand remains unchanged, Perimeter will probably pick up the slack, I hear they are hiring!

They are "dead" and everything is up for sale. They state that they will be starting up again sometime, but don't know exactly when. They also have stated that it will be on a much smaller scale when they do so.

Ah, it's the "Winnipeg Flying Club" you're talking about. Nevermind.

(It appears that someone changed the title of this thread - it started as "BAD DAY IN MANITOBA - SKYWARD AND WPG FLYING CLUB CLOSE")
