Coastal Pacific Aviation
Hi everyone,
I am 17 years old currently attending high school in BC. My average in Math and Physics is above 90 and roughly at 80 in English. I am planning to attend Coastal Pacific Aviation for the BBA university program. I was wondering if my marks are good enough to get me into this college. Secondly, for those of you who live in BC, how is the reputation of this school? Please advise me if there are schools/ aviation colleges which would be a better option for me for example maybe BCIT?
Thanks in advance!

I don't want to sound like a snob but UFV is not even on the scope of most HS grads. Especially when you have ranked universities like SFU and UBC within an hour's drive, UFV just don't have the street cred. I looked at their program and it seems to miss out a lot of high end courses when compare to SFU. However, since the program is tailored toward aviation, don't know if you really need those high end BBA courses.
List of some stuff missing (these were basic requirements at SFU):
Micro Econ
Business Ethics (yes I had to take that course, aced it too)
Investment (stock pricing)
Derivatives & Options
Management Econ
Business writing (but it's substituted with proper English writing course)
Essentially, it's sort of a joint major program being half basic business and half aviation. You are missing out on upper level business courses and specialization. At least on paper you won't be as competitive as a SFU or UBC grad. Then again I graduated from SFU BBA and still have problem finding a job in the IS industry.

I went through the program and it was not missing all of the above quoted courses (This may have changed) but some of them are unfamiliar.
