Chopper Log books
Hey all!
My current log book is getting pretty near full and I am starting chopper training. So I am looking for a new log book but they all seem to have forgotten about helicopters. Some have a Rotary column but there is no way of discerning the difference between single or multi engine choppers or any of the other differences you need to log towards an ATPL(H).
What would you all recommend? I was thinking a new log one just for helicopters. Perhaps an electronic one. I looked at log book pro that sporty’s sells and I don’t like it. Too complex and it has a bunch of FAA stuff that cant be changed to Canadian. Plus you can't enter the instructor or co-pilot you flew with.
Recommendations or advice is greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

Re: Chopper Log books
YOu probably won't find a rotary specific book. I got a stiff wing one from aviation world in vancouver and renamed the columns to what i need. just use two log books.
If you ever get a job flying rotary when your done training, you aren't going to need fixed wing one anyway. The first pay check will convince you of that.....

Use Excel you can name/make the columns anything you want.flingwinger wrote:I use Logten Pro, you can customize it however you like.
