CS&J...So, you've either completed your prison sentence, or actually behaved and were released early.

Toga Descent,
Good call.... I'm going with some child related "incident" in Boy Scouts. Weird part is that he liked it and now is very troubled, angry and confused, but gets through it all with alcohol. First nations perhaps? You should really stop posting when you're under the influence......

I hadn't seen any of CS&J’s literary works for a while and began to think (read hope) that he had recently gone the way of some other people lately... The Pope, Johnny Cockran, and Terri Schiavo! But, it would appear that he is alive and well. So much for “Wishing upon a falling star…”

Yep
CS&J. Firstly - and don’t get your knickers in a knot over it - read this carefully (Something that will be out of character for you). To answer your question, “…so, you wish I was dead…” The answer is, quite emphatically, YES! However, since “AvCanada” is a virtual community, and, as such its inhabitants are “typically” anonymous, I only wished that your virtual person (CS & J) met that demise. I would never – even towards my worst enemy (If I had an enemy) - wish something so horrific upon anyone.
Now, that I have so carefully and clearly worded my response, I leave it to you to plagiarize the hell out of it, and turn this thread into another of your characteristic circuses.

how i love it when things come full circle...as they always do welcome to......... being captain jackass...... oh...and dont lower yourself with excuses about your particular situation..it was this, it was that, so and so got it too........perhaps nuclear technology would have been better for you........a simple apology will do nicely.
Laugh it up.
And your experience point is moot, someone with as much experience as you got stuck earlier in the day.
Don't forget who taught me how to bury an airplane in the mud!

Please, please someone tell me that S&J and D.S. are not actually pilots working in this industry, because if that is the level of professionalism this industry has sunk to no one here can complain about low pay.

Hi CAT...yes they are pushin birds around the sky.
I am not 100% sure a little internet stupidity reflects on the ability to operate an aircraft. It's all just shananigans and tom-foolery. Don't let it get you down.
Perhaps it should be contained to certain areas of this site, like you have hinted at in the past? That idea I will support.

Desksgo :
Quite a few pilots in Europe read these forumes and many comment to me about the seeming low level of pilot mentality in Canada.
One would think that that would matter to those who are in this industry.
Oh, well maybe I am just getting to old to undrestand.

Point taken.
I generally don't use EU forums to judge the intelligence of their own aircrews though. That's a bit much to cast judgment on an entire group by what is seen on an internet chat board. I don't think many people that read this board come on here prepared to be embassadors of Canadian Aviation.
What's the solution then?

How is joking about getting stuck in the mud unprofessional? Where in my post is there anything unprofessional?
Airplanes get stuck in the mud every year in the north. Perimeter, Skyward, Wasaya, Calm Air all have done it.
It happens.
Why is it wrong to joke about it?

Yeh, floater...
..and I notice out of sixteen posts that you have made four are bitching about my comments about TC.
So you tell me why you think I'm so wrong, remember my opinion comes from one on one dealings their their very top managament who proved to be dishonest self serving individuals who would in all probility not be accepted in the Hells Angles.
On what level do you have experience with TC's top people? I can provide supporting evidence to back up my opinion, what can you show?

Good suggestion floater, if you read all my posts I'm sure you will find that I spend a lot of time trying to give advice to the younguns.
You would be surprised at the amount of e-mails , PM's , phone calls and visits that I receive from the members here.
Just this afternoon one of the posters called me form Ont. and we talked for about one hour and I do not recall any conversation about TC, the subject just never came up.
What would make me happy is to find someone that could take over the business of teaching people to fly warbirds so I could just build airplanes at home and fly when I want to...
...alas that is not to be for a while longer and my e-mail and phone just keeps me busy trying to find parts and solve paper work issues surrounding the Cat in Europe...
..by the way if you think we have bureacuracy it does not even come close to a lot of other countries. Europe is bad, The middle East is worse, Africa is mindboggling and Brazil is impossible....then there is France with their on and off again strikes just when you need to go somewhere...and on and on...Oh I almost forgot China, now the there is another example....
I have read all your posts and I'm sure we would be the best of friends if we did not have to communicate through this media.
Anyhow floater I hold no animosity towards those who may interpet my attitude the wrong way...hell I still have many friends in the regulator....
Cheers and you have a safe and prosperous summer.
