What an eye-sore.

May not be as pleasing to the eye as the 208 but has the engine that the Van should have had on the front. I could see this being a great airplane for those that do off strip work that don't need the bulk room of the 208.

That paint scheme is a tragedy! Hopefully they think of something better..

I was over Victoria harbour last month when that Telus Kodiak landed down there for the first time, harbour guys spent a while talking to them about it over the radio. Unfortunately didn't get a look at it!

Agreed, the Telus corporate colors do not compliment that aircraft. I was on the golf course up at Whistler last week & watched it take off, impressive. I couldn't find any performance numbers (with the whip floats) online. I'd be interested to see how it compares to a Turbo Beaver.

With all the ripping off of customers they do they should be able to afford better than that!
Putting money into aviation is like wiping before you poop....it just don't make sense!

I've flown one with a -28. CF-OEE. Has a different compressor on it I believe and a different fuel control unit than the -27.Human Factor wrote:They do, or a -20. Never seen a -28 on a 2T and I've worked on many of the ones still flying on the west coast.Flybaby wrote:I thought the DHC2T had -27's?
Not sure I've seen any recently wearing a -6 still...

C-GDOV has a -28 engine as well. Earlier in its life as CF-RDA when Ptarmigan had it in the 70's it had a -6 in it.

I've seen a couple of the kodiaks now in decent paint schemes.. sadly my camera bag was not with me at the time..HS-748 2A wrote:Rowdy, that is a sharp looking ship.
