I make myself a youtube playlist of appropriate songs and then I use it while I do yoga in my living room. Elsewise, I use a MP3 player filled with upbeat, energetic music when I'm outside jogging.

if you like dance tracks with some vocals (not lots), groove electric on itunes, it is free to download and there is a new mix every week, usually is an hour long.

depends what kinda working out you do.
nothing like some good metal to get ya going, an old workout partner of mine used
to call it "artificial creatine" haha

whatever you listen to, use it to set the appropriate mental climate for your lift
or if you're running, use it to help keep you going. nothing like being in the middle
of a set of heavy squats and having norah jones come on :?

Really you should throw in Kenny Loggins Danger Zone just for good measure.

Another totally hype new ish song I heard on BPM TV for the first time recently: freestylers ft pendulum-Painkiller. Just makes me want to run around and jump off something.

I've got two playlists. One for in the weight room, the other for doing cardio etc.
When lifting weights I like to listen to stuff like Metallica, Rob Zombie, Slipknot etc. to pump me up. When I'm doing cardio I'll listen to sets by DJ's like Tiesto or Armin van Buuren.

Bloc Party's Silent Alarm is my fave album when running on the threadmill. Nice indie rock with good rhythm.

Shoppers Drug Marts and other may have them I have bought one at Costco as well.
At Shoppers Drug Marts they are on racks with other CD's. The last one was a Disco Mix. Corny you may think but actually worth the money. The Biggest Loser has mixed CD's geared for working out. They are really good.

Lately i've been using the "Best of Bootie" compilations for workouts. They're mashups of popular songs, where they overlay and/or mix vocals and music from one song into another. Some are atrocious, some are so-so, but there are some absolutely spectacular mashups, that are better than both songs separately in many cases.

This link will take you to the downloadable mashup CD's:
http://bootiemashup.com/bestof/

I recommend the 2009 mix as a good starting point, I think it has the most "bang-for-your-buck" for someone downloading these for the first time.

You're looking great, so the music must be working.
