I hope you got a "CF-" on there too S.H.. !
OFD, I'm not sure if I need to see more of that girl or not. The jury is still out on that. She's a trooper though, I'm sure.
I like that the second vid had a 'wasp theme' too tho.
At least we're on topic here.

I backed up 30' or so, so it would have a nice spread. It was hanging in a tree, over the creek.
It was there one second, and gone the next. Just little shards in the creek;
and two very angry bastards circling around, wondering, "WTF!?" I'd imagine.
Believe it or not though, I had to repeat the process a couple days latter when they rebuilt.
The second salvo must have taken hold, or got the queen, or sent the message, or whatever was required because they didn't come back.
These guys were 'black-jackets', not yellow. Not sure if I'd ever seen them quite like that before.
Terrible year for wasps in my neck of the woods this year. Never seen so many in one summer. Tapered off now though with the cooler WX.

..and terrible year for scorpions here too. Many times I heard screams at night from our female colleagues here. They seem not to like the view of a 2 inch ( 5 cm) scorpion on the wall of their bedrooms. I don't either, but a man s'got to do...

Cold front has come through and I'm thinking they are going to be pretty lethargic tonight. Mission planning now in progress. I like this method, as it can be non-lethal. I'm thinking I could take the bagged nest across the road into the bush, set it down, cut off a corner with scissors, run like hell, and they will find their own way out and start work on a new nest.

...or put it in the bin at the curb,...and watch the garbage man run like hell...
